Automotive giant Volkswagen crosses industries to co-produce an Infinito Studio original tv series alongside Four-time Emmy winning “Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon” executive producer.

CHALLENGE

PROCESS
Providing strong financial backing as well as a fresh European perspective and a visionary message, Volkswagen’s newly dedicated production arm through Cupra is in the unique position to quickly shift into high gear with this collaboration with Infinito Studios and four-time Emmy award winning “Game of Thrones” and “House of the Dragon” executive producer Vince Gerardis in developing together the tv series. A high, epic idea that is in the developing process.

With the collaboration of Infinito’s new allies, the development and production of the tv series “RPM” gathered renown talent names like the USA Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys-Meyers (Match Point, The Tudors), the Colombian Natalia Reyes (Terminator 3) and the Spanish Academy Award winner Eduard Fernandez. Garage Club expertise in producing for foreign IP in their own Spanish territory and managing the tax rebates advantages like they mastered during the Amazone Prime tv series biopic production for “Maradona, Sueño Bendito” (2021) offers a unique opportunity to a Hollywood-ambitious type of projects to be financially designed to recoup or invest at least 40% of any dollar invested in production. Another angle that it’s tackled when developing the business side of projects like this one.
The Volkswagen acting as a studio co-producing the show, is not only capitalizing the message of a tv series that questions what will happen with humanity if we do not control the exponential growth of AI and technologies in general, but also leverages the opportunity to connect and expand their own community of car and life lovers. At the same time, and after tax-rebates advantages applied, the automotive group can get as many content and pieces taken out of the tv series footage and use them as commercial campaigns or communication strategies around the globe.

RESULTS
A developed project to go to sells and tone reels of mesmerizing engagin effects.
